Focus on Catering
What to consider before booking catering
We are here to help you Budget Before You Book. When choosing a wedding caterer, it’s important to know that caterers usually operate on a cost-per-person guideline… Which can be very helpful when considering your budget in general. This will help you stay within your targeted budget when you know how much to set aside, per person, for food and beverage.
Think of the big picture
You’ve heard me say it before, but it is so important to consider both your overall style and mood for your wedding day when making decisions throughout the planning process. Your venue location plays a big part in setting the stage for your reception. Consider your guests’ perspective — if you were invited to a wedding in the middle of a field, what would you expect to be served? Here is where your budget really comes into play! If you are on a more modest budget, you would go to the more simplistic choices. Use the guide posted in here to help you decide your menu and which catering company is best for you!
Next week we will cover types of food service, from stations to family style. And, bring you interviews from local catering professionals, so be sure to stay tuned to our series for more advice.
