There is such charm in things that are very, very British.
What could be more beautiful than a wedding in the Fall? Warm, rich colors... gentle breezes as the air cools... an ambiance that suggests Mother Nature is truly in attendance.
‘Autumn is nature’s last, and loveliest, smile’
When we think about fall here in middle Tennessee we usually have visions of pumpkins, sunflowers, and cornstalks dancing in our heads.
But when it comes to Fall Weddings, we like to add a little more refinement for the occasion. We are taking a nod from our friends at Ellis Bridals ( check out their blog post “The Fall Wedding”).
With Fall, comes a different elegance - one you can make your own. It's a popular season for matrimony, planned to be ahead of the holidays so they are truly yours to spend together. And while we share much with our British friends, we know you can take the beautifully styled Ellis gowns and add your own lovely, warm flavors to the mix.
And, to celebrate the “British Style” for Fall we have picked a plethora of our more subdued fall florals for your viewing pleasure...
We are excited and proud to have been part of Enchanted Bride's magazine feature "Music City Elegance". Geny's has featured various images from this stunning style shoot by Divine Images, but we want you to enjoy the complete look, as it shows one of those wondrous times when it all comes together. Joan Presley, of our very own Geny's Flowers and Bridal, served as Floral & Creative Designer.
From set styling.. to florals... to the wedding gown... Geny's created the perfect combination to enhance both the bride and the setting. For the complete story, read "Music City Elegance" at Enchanted Brides.

Flower Crowns - Our numerous outdoor venues of barns, fields, vineyards and gardens have visions of flower halos dancing in our bride’s heads.
Lee’s visit to Geny’s Flowers & Bridal was sort of a happy accident. She had been referred to us for flowers and when she came in for her consultation, discovered we had wedding gowns. Being able to assist a bride with her gown and flowers not only makes the process more seamless but the finished product as well.
Lee and Herschel’s wedding was held at The Wren’s Nest. This hidden gem is quite literally nestled in the edge of the woods in Murfreesboro. They offer a fabulous barn with an upstairs loft for the ceremony, or you can choose from one of the outdoor areas for your vows.
So now we know Lee, we know the venue and we know our gowns and flowers. We set about the task of pulling her vision together.
Every bride deserves to feel her most beautiful on her wedding day. That is always our goal when we set out to help her find her wedding gown. We helped Lee select a strapless, rouched satin gown from LaSposa. This gown was amazing on her. We softened the satin by adding a romantic lace shrug from Ellis Bridal. A perfect touch for the ceremony and then also allowed her a different look by removing it for the reception.
Then came the jewelry for the whole event, FLOWERS! Soft pink astible, Juliet peach garden roses and silvery dusty miller were perfect for the venue and her gown.
We just don’t think it could have been any more precious. Lee was stunning from head to toe. Herschel was handsome and dapper in his grey suit. All those lovely children in their smocked shirts and dresses, little girls with baby’s breath flower crowns, oh my. And nothing makes a statement like a floral chandelier hanging overhead for your vows.
So, before you purchase a gown or flowers, be sure to give us a look. You could be our next happy, beautiful accident.
